Senior Program Manager

KBR is seeking a Senior Program Manager (Senior General and Operations Manager) to join our team in St. Inigoes, MD. In this role, you will act as a lead, manager, and administrator for multiple programs, projects, and pursuits, including but not limited to a Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (CUAS) Contract. This is a full-time on-site position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for multiple programs, projects, and pursuits, including but not limited to a Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (CUAS) Contract.
- Serves as the primary interface and Point of Contact (POC) with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues.
- Oversees Contractor execution of the Contract requirements and manages acquisition and employment of program/project resources.
- Pursue new business opportunities to grow engineering and technical services business.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse teams and the ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contracted effort such as program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, and financial management is required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: MS or MA degree. For those with a BS/BA, an additional 4 years of experience is required.
Experience: 10(+) years of experience, which includes...
- 6 years of experience in Defense acquisition and 3 years in support of Navy Acquisition management.
- Experience with shipboard and shore electronic systems; hardware and software; configuration control; test and evaluation; systems integration; and systems supportability.
- Experience initiating and maintaining technical direction within broad program objectives directly related to aircraft systems; hardware and software; configuration control; test and evaluation; systems integration; and systems supportability.
- Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures; demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the DoD 5000 series
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $149,930-224,840.The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
