KBR’s Government Solutions - US, Defense Systems Engineering Business Unit is seeking Program Management Sr. Assistant to join our team and work in our Development and Integration Laboratory in Lexington Park, MD. Specifically, we are looking for qualified candidates to support our Program Management team with financial analysis and budget tracking, report preparation and submittal, tracking external provider performance through receiving inspections and analysis for completeness, timeliness, and quality, and establishing and tracking tools, equipment and material inventories. The ideal candidate will have technical, financial, logistics, quality, and administration skills, and experience with financial tracking, material and parts ordering and inventory and associated management systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The candidate will work under direct supervision and review of work in KBR’s laboratories and spaces. They must provide sound judgment to Program Management, Project Managers and supervisors to plan and accomplish work, resolve problems, and meet requirements, while completed work is reviewed for technical adequacy. This will require the capability to read, edit, and draft documents, financial spreadsheets, drawings, parts lists, processes, forms, and instructions.
- The candidate will assist the programs achieve Program Management goals supporting projects in all stages from estimating, proposals, awards, kickoffs, execution, extension and close-out. This will require the capability to perform program financial analysis and budget tracking, material and parts research, purchasing, receiving inspections and logging results, tracking and controlling inventory, kitting of parts for fabrication and assembly, and supporting test plans, data analysis and test reports, procedures and documentation, and tracking of all analysis, models, prototypes, end-items or reports delivered to customers.
- The candidate will support Program and Quality Management requirements to receive, identify, control and track KBR and Government equipment using WASP inventory management software. This candidate will help receive, distribute and track tools, lab and measurement equipment inventory and locations, operation and maintenance actions, repair, and maintain strict control of calibration as required. The candidate will also support inventory and disposal of laboratory consumables, including Hazardous Materials and material shelf-life.
- The candidate will undergo hands-on training and mentoring, and assist other staff, while following established Safety and Quality Management System procedures and practices.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen.
- Education: High School diploma with related advanced training or college courses.
- Experience: Must have a minimum of 6 years of related experience with program management, financial and asset management and 1 year of purchasing and inventory management.
- Clearance: DOD Secret clearance, or eligible to obtain clearance within 12 months.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with program financial analysis and budget tracking using Cost Point enterprise software.
- Experience with program and project financial analysis and budget tracking using advanced features of MS Excel.
- Experience with inventory control software and wireless scanner tools, ideally using WASP inventory control software.
- Experience with record keeping and Quality Management System (QMS) processes.
- Experience performing an array of tasks on multiple concurrent projects, while working with a small team.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
Compensation: $57,000-76,600. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
