What does a successful Business Analyst do at Fiserv?
The Agile Business Analyst is a highly skilled professional responsible for providing business analysis services within an Agile framework. They work closely with the product owner, development team, and stakeholders to ensure that the product meets the needs of the business.
What you will do:
- Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders to define clear and actionable user stories.
- Explain and support Scrum teams through Sprint cycles to deliver towards user stories in sprints. Conduct workshops and meetings to facilitate collaboration and consensus among stakeholders and Scrum teams.
- Create documents and maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate potential solutions and assess their impacts on the current and future state of the system. Validate solutions against requirements and verify that they meet quality standards before deployment.
- Develop and validate business process models to ensure they meet business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements/ user stories. Work with Product Owners to prioritize backlog items based on business value and alignment with program goals.
- Manage changes to requirements through structured change control processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the evolution of the BA practice within the organization.
What you will need to have:
- Relevant experience in the Fintech sector
- Agile experience preferably with a recognised Business Analyst certification
- Experience of coordinating a complex product backlog for delivery through regular refinement and prioritisation. Experience in delivering a new product from inception to market/live
- Expert in User Story and Acceptance criteria creation
- Quality-focused, with attention to detail, good use of language (proficient with Word, Excel PowerPoint, Visio), familiarity with Jira and Confluence tools.
