We are looking for a Business Development Associate to join our growing Sales Team. This role is an excellent fit for individuals with a strong background in leadership, adaptability, and relationship-building; qualities that many veterans and transitioning military members exemplify. You will have the opportunity to learn our sales processes from start to finish, refine your communication skills, and become a key contributor to generating new business opportunities. You will connect prospects with our solutions while working alongside a supportive and mission-driven team.
What You'll Do
- Conduct proactive outreach to potential customers through phone calls, emails, and online platforms
- Build relationships by identifying customer needs and explaining how our solutions can address mission-critical challenges
- Collaborate with team members to schedule meetings with prospects and ensure a seamless handoff to Account Executives
- Research and qualify leads using available tools and maintain detailed records of your efforts in Salesforce
- Develop a strong understanding of the industries we serve and our products, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor
- Leverage your ability to stay organized and focused in order to reach your individual and team goals
Your First 90 Days
Our onboarding program is designed to set you up for success, with a combination of training, mentorship, and hands-on experience. Here's what you can expect during your first three months with us:
In your first 30 days: You’ll immerse yourself in our product offerings, learn about the industries we serve, and gain a deep understanding of our approach to business development. Leveraging your aptitude for mission planning, you’ll work with our training team to set a strong foundation for your role.
In your first 60 days: You’ll start applying what you’ve learned to actively generate leads and build relationships with potential customers. You'll support the team’s efforts to achieve operational goals and contribute to the overall success of the mission.
In your first 90 days: You’ll refine your ability to diagnose customer challenges and articulate how our solutions can meet their needs. You’ll also begin identifying opportunities to share best practices and contribute to the team's continuous improvement.
Throughout this phase, you’ll be part of a tight-knit team that values communication and shared success.
