About this Position As a Senior Master Data Specialist, you will play a vital role in the accuracy and integrity of our material master data, which is essential for our operations and decision-making processes. Your expertise will ensure that local material data is created and maintained promptly and accurately, directly supporting our supply chain efficiency and operational excellence. What you´ll do
- Ensure the accurate and timely creation and updates of local material master data views in P92/P93, covering various aspects such as Plant, Sales, Material Resource Planning (MRP), and Sales Organization
- Manage the creation and update of packaging material master data, including Packaging Bill of Materials, unit of measure, and article report generation, while overseeing material deletions and reactivations
- Maintain P03 Material International Data Harmonization (IDH) records by validating Article Request Forms and ensuring timely processing of requests
- Coordinate efforts to gather necessary information for maintaining master data in SAP, addressing queries, monitoring workflows, and communicating updates on activated materials
- Generate master data reports and downloads while executing necessary cleanup to support business needs
- Prepare updates for the process manual and keep the Team Lead informed of any changes or revisions
- Participate in project execution related to local material master data maintenance as needed, along with additional tasks assigned by the Team Lead or Manager
