Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Body Weld PE SE Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Robot SE Technician.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support new model SE studies utilizing 3D factory modeling and offline robot teaching tools (C3).
Reporting to the Robot SE Manager, the person in this role will support the Robot SE team’s objectives to ensure robotic welding feasibility and design for manufacturing.
What you’ll be doing
Study welding processes for feasibility
Estimate robotic welding process cycle time
Provide feedback on design concepts
Communicate study outcomes to primary and secondary stakeholders
Work across multiple data formats to develop robot welding strategies
What you bring
Experience using Carott3
4-year engineering degree or 5 + years in Body Weld new model development
Experience with welding robots in manufacturing environment
Experience with offline robot programming software
Added bonus if you have
TBP completed through panel
NAMC or other engineering department experience
3D modeling/scanning experience
Experience with creating or editing SharePoint Flows
