Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 10 countries.
Job Summary
As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for operating buses and taxi vans to transport passengers along predetermined routes on Camp Bondsteel and to various locations in Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Albania. You will ensure the safety and comfort of passengers, perform vehicle maintenance checks, and adhere to all safety regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive up to a 57-passenger bus and 7-passenger taxi vans along predetermined routes on and off base.
- Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment and complying with local traffic regulations.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) before, during, and after each mission.
- Report any mechanical issues.
- Ensure the safe pickup and drop-off of passengers to and from their destinations.
- Maintain daily vehicle dispatch and passenger record counts.
- Clean and prepare vehicles for use.
- Report to and receive assignments from the Foreman or General Foreman.
- Read and interpret instructions and documentation to plan work activities.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of a valid civilian driving license (Class D).
- Knowledge of and skill in operating 57-passenger and smaller buses, with both automatic and standard transmissions.
- Ability to safely operate a bus day or night, in all weather conditions and types of terrain.
- Knowledge of traffic and safety regulations and procedures pertaining to bus vehicle operation.
- Must be Kosovo citizen.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- English Language proficiency preferred.
