CH2M HILL BWXT West Valley, LLC (CHBWV) is the prime contractor selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to manage the Phase 1 – Facility Disposition Project at the West Valley Demonstration Project. The site is a scenic 30-minute drive south of Buffalo, New York. In cooperation with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, CHBWV continues to decontaminate and decommission facilities at this site.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Plant Systems Operations - Supervisor I is responsible for multiple plant systems from Water Management to Potable Water overseeing multiple shift operators working a rotating shift. Other responsibilities include the quantity and quality of work through planning, organizing, and directing the actions of operators, technicians, or maintenance personnel and ensuring work is performed in compliance with procedures, policies, and industrial safety practices.
REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS
- Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in the discipline to be supervised
- Additional education may be substituted for experience on a case-by-case basis
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Radworker II
- Class C water license
- Asbestos-containing material (ACM) supervisor
- Other Requirements:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/SCOPE OF WORK
