Role OverviewWe are seeking an Electronics Test Technician to support
second-shift operations in our Courtland, AL facility. You will be instrumental in building, testing, and maintaining advanced electronic systems, contributing directly to Lockheed Martin’s mission of innovation in space technology.
This is a
hands-on role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with precision tools, and being part of a high-performing team.
Key Duties / ResponsibilitiesAs an Electronics Test Technician, your work will include:
• Performing tasks in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical systems
• Constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, diagnosing, and maintaining equipment, components, or systems
• Following schematics, engineering drawings, and both written and verbal instructions
• Operating testing equipment and recording accurate data in prescribed formats
• Conducting calibration and alignment checks, making adjustments or replacements as directed
• Preparing prescribed compounds and solutions as needed
• This role is essential to ensuring quality, precision, and reliability in everything we build.
Work Environment• Second-shift schedule:
Monday – Thursday, 4 PM – 2:30 AM (4x10 schedule)• Collaborative, hands-on environment focused on precision, innovation, and continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications:Candidates must meet all requirements• Ability to follow routine work instructions with limited supervision and complete new assignments using detailed instructions
• Strong skills in calculating and measuring, including fractions and decimals
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:“Nice-to-have” skills that strengthen candidacy• Interim Secret clearance or current ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, and Function Generators
• Electrical harness experience or electrical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with engineering drawings or blueprints
• Experience with electronics testing equipment
• Knowledge of assembly, test, and/or launch operations
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
