Role OverviewAs a
Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing the production of complex aerospace hardware. You will ensure that assembly processes, equipment, and production instructions meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This is an opportunity for a multifaceted engineering professional to bring creativity, technical expertise, and leadership to high-stakes aerospace projects.
Key Duties & Responsibilities• Plan and execute sub-assembly and final assembly of critical aerospace hardware.
• Setup, qualify, and optimize production lines and associated equipment, including manufacturing support equipment, fixtures, and shop aids.
• Release engineering documentation and create Manufacturing Work Instructions / Standard Operating Procedures to support production.
• Create and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOMs) in SAP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, high-quality production.

Basic Qualifications:Candidates must meet all requirements
• Experience with assembly/manufacturing or aerospace hardware.
• Experience creating Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWIs) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Knowledge of production line systems and identifying the equipment necessary to support production.
Desired Skills:
“Nice-to-have” skills that strengthen candidacy
• Experience with assembly/manufacturing of critical final assembly aerospace hardware in a production environment.
• Tooling design knowledge for aerospace production.
• Proficiency with standard engineering tools such as Windchill, CREO, or other similar industry tools.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
