Role OverviewWe are looking for a
Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a high-performing team of manufacturing professionals. In this role, you will drive daily operations, support production excellence, and implement continuous improvement across diverse manufacturing activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities• Lead a team of manufacturing professionals to meet schedule commitments and achieve customer satisfaction
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, translating requirements into clear instructions for technicians and mechanics
• Manage day-to-day operations and coordinate cross-functional manufacturing teams
• Drive performance improvements and operational efficiency while supporting evolving customer needs
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and employee development
• Monitor business performance metrics and use data to guide decision-making
• Champion Lean initiatives to strengthen team performance and streamline processes

Basic Qualifications:Candidates must meet all requirements:
• Experience in manufacturing and/or production environments
• Experience leading a team, either formally or informally
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings / blueprints
•
Interim Secret clearance required prior to start with the ability to obtain a full Secret clearance
Desired Skills:“Nice-to-have” skills that strengthen candidacy• Experience in component manufacturing, assembly, disassembly, or materials management—preferably in a leadership role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Experience working with performance metrics and benchmarking
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with skill in managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Knowledge of Lean principles, Kaizen, Kanban, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
• Green Belt Certification (or equivalent continuous improvement training)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
