Program Management Specialist

KBR is seeking a Specialist. Program Management in support of Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) efforts related to the Aviation Product Lifecycle Management (AvPLM) program. The successful candidate would support KBR program management in fulfilling requirements of the contractual scope of work. Responsibilities may include analysis of program activities such as labor pricing, capturing technical requirements, fulfilling documentation requirements, and maintaining documentation workflows. Interaction with government representatives as well as subcontractors is expected.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with preparation and development of briefs and other documentation
- Screen and organize documentation to allow for electronic filing
- Schedule meetings, create agendas, take notes, and prepare meeting minutes
- Escalate and report issues in a clear, concise, and timely manner to project/program management
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience with acquisition and contract management
- Accurately estimate task duration and meet schedules – not missing deadlines is critical
- Have experience with analytical and management tools and offer improved operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Perform review and formatting of documents and briefs in MS Word, Excel, Adobe Pro and PowerPoint
- Be a self-starter that can work independently on special projects as tasked
- Be able to research various logistics topics and generate draft documents
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience: BA/BS degree (Preferably STEM-related) plus 2 years experience in related tasks.
Clearance & Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience supporting the DoD community.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $83,000-105,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
